This self-styled and dynamic Zimbabwean singer and songwriter headlines the Spring Jazz Show at Intwasa. Dudu is no stranger to the big stage having worked and shared the stage with music greats such as Tuku, Steve Dyer, Louis Mhlanga, Tanga wekwa Sando, and the late Dumi Ngulube. During the Spring Jazz Show, she will share the stage with Alexio Kawara and Cool Crooners.

Coming to Bulawayo immediately after her international tour and the successful launch of her latest album, Rites of Passage, Dudu Manhenga and her band, Colour Blu, are set to light up the 8th edition of Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo with her sizzling hot “afro –jazz adventure” performance.

Dudu Manhenga’s style is influenced by great African and Jazz singers and the dignity of her delivery is a credit to her, the band and her country. Fusing afro, contemporary, Zimbabwean traditional, jazz, Latino, and a cross-breed of manica, Shona and Matabele rhythms and melodies her performance promises to be nothing but sizzling hot and a life-changing experience
