One-of-a-kind glass droplets in a myriad of colours, set in detailed handworked sterling silver are the latest o earrings from The Ndau Collection. Using the vibrant African trade beads commonly known as sweetie beads, Ndau has created a range of pendants, earrings and bracelets that can be worn singly or layered in lengths and colours. These beautiful glass beads originate from Mali, where they were traditionally given by a mother to her daughter in celebration of her marriage. Formed in moulds, the beads come in droplets and at the drop and triangular shapes. No two beads are alike with their swirled colours and most show some wear from constant use due to their high value. This range tagged “Drop It Like It’s Haute” is now available in South Africa at IYØS in Canal Walk, Cape Town, as well as at The Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls Safari Club and Ndau’s home gallery at Elephant’s Walk in Victoria Falls
