Pink And Purple focuses on the plus size modeling industry. What it means to be a plus-size model and the physical requirements for one to be a plus-size model. Full figured women are often body shamed, the episode focused on stigma related to plus size models and how to deal with the criticism.
What is a Plus Size Models? I looked it up and this is what I got. A plus-size model is an individual of average to larger stature (sometimes but not exclusively overweight or obese) who is engaged primarily in modelling plus-size clothing. Plus-size models also engage in work that is not strictly related to selling large-sized clothing, e.g., stock photography and advertising photography for cosmetics, household and pharmaceutical products and sunglasses, footwear and watches. Therefore, plus-size models do not exclusively wear garments marketed as plus-size clothing.
