Lady Tshawe: Lady Tshawe, born Nomashawekazi Michelle Sangiwenkosi Damasane aka Lady Tshawe is a multi-talented artist hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The multitalented creative has taken her words and made them transcend into textile with a collaboration of Poetry and fashion. This novel and the pioneering idea are being done in collaboration with AnnieG, a fashion house that creates original and ethnic designs. The two creative’s have put the creative art for writing and visual aid of design to develop a concept called ‘Poetry meets Fashion.’
Lady Tshawe’s artistic style, expression and image embody her abilities, aspirations and achievements as a musician, poet, writer, dancer, actress and creative thinker. AnnieG also using her knowledge of textiles, accessories, jewellery and image consultancy has come together with Lady Tshawe to make this concept alive.
